Student Workshops

All workshops held remotely via ZOOM

We know that the ongoing pandemic makes it difficult for high school students planning to major in music to connect with the wonderful bass professors all over Texas, and we are pleased to present the TDBA Masterclass Series to help make these connections easier!

Each Masterclass will be 60-90 minutes long, and will be able to accommodate 3-4 performers scheduled in 20 minute time slots. Performance priority will be given first to 12th graders, then 11th graders, etc, and will be awarded on a first-come-first-served basis dependent on private teacher recommendation. TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS FOR PERFORMERS: students wishing to perform need to use Zoom on a desktop or laptop computer to have full access to appropriate audio settings, and will need to have access to an external microphone.

Students and teachers wishing to audit (observe) will be allowed up to our Zoom capacity limits, and may audit using any device that will run Zoom.
